As an Inn the Mix Social Attendant, you will fulfill the guest service role of providing outstanding customer service and represent the Residence Inn by Marriott’s values. You will ensure the highest quality of product and service standards to ensure guest satisfaction by providing prompt and courteous food service and social interactions including but not limited to; engaging in conversation with customers, expressing interest in their presence at the hotel and welcoming back familiar faces.


The Ideal Candidate Will: 

  • Have a minimum of 6 months of food service experience with general knowledge of food preparation, presentation and service.
  • In possession of, or willing to be in possession of (required to complete and pass training), an OLCC Alcohol Server Permit.
  • Be incredibly friendly, customer-centric, love to smile and radiate a positive and accommodating attitude while interacting with customers.
  • Prepares and serves menu items to sets up the buffet before guests begin arriving for Inn the Mix. Displays the food and beverages in an organized and attractive manner. Frequently checks buffet line to replenish food, beverages and supplies needed.
  • Cleaning and refreshing of the public space including around the buffet, on the counter table and at the eating table’s tops, chairs and surrounding floor.
  • Sets out plates, cups, bowels, utensils and napkins for guests to use.
  • Prepares coffee and/or tea by established standards.
  • Monitors guest behavior and guest alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol service to the guest should cease; notifies management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired condition of customers.
  • Checks identification whenever the age of a guest requesting and alcoholic beverage service for every guest despite appearance per Aimbridge Hospitality Standards; follows state and local laws regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
  • Removes and disposes of leftover food at end of social shift. Cleans buffet area according to established standards. Ensures inventory is stocked and properly stored prior to the next day’s shift.
  • May keep daily or weekly records of foods used and consumed.
  • May be responsible for keeping inventory stocked by ordering additional food and/or supplies as needed.
  • Receive direct and indirect customer feedback regarding their dining experience and relays feedback to proper management.
  • Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
