Job overview

As a Server Assistant, you will fill a guest services role in supporting your hotel’s Food & Beverage operation and service to customers.  You will effectively maintain the cleanliness and order of Sway Restaurant & Bar, ensure prompt and courteous service to restaurant guests. You will ensure the highest quality of product and service standards and guest satisfaction by fulfilling a customer service role and assisting the F&B team during a shift.

The ideal candidate will: 

  • Be interested and passionate about working in a restaurant atmosphere.  
  • Be incredibly friendly, customer centric, loves to smile and radiate a positive and accommodating attitude while interacting with customers.
  • Assist servers  by greeting customers, setting tables, placing/removing silverware and dishware, serving and refilling drinks, running food, restocking, and responding to guest requests timely.  
  • Serves menu items to guests in a prompt and courteous manner and according to established service standards.
  • Completes all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed. 
  • Maintains cleanliness standards in restaurant  and service station areas.
  • Become informed of daily/weekly specials and able to explain all menu items to the customers as requested.
  • Receive direct and indirect customer feedback regarding their dining experience and relays feedback to proper management.
  • Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
